After looking at (literally) dozens of catalogues and making several trips to different vendors and stores, YCC was a breath of fresh air! When Gene came to my house, he was prompt, concise, and thorough about what he does to make this process painless. (It’s an overwhelming task to redesign a kitchen knowing you’re stuck with it for at least 20 years.) He was very clear about the products he had available and the ones that were suitable for my budget. While I researched his recommended cabinet companies to pick door styles and wood finishes, his associates were busy at work on a CAD rendering of my kitchen – which I received promptly the following week via email. We were given as much time as needed to review the plans, request modifications, and place inquiries. Gene was always speedy to respond and resolve any loose end. Once the order was placed, I thought his work was done. Not the case at all! He continued to field questions we had regarding install and measurements and was super helpful in ways that were beyond his duties. (I really did call him with little questions about flooring and under cabinet lighting. Since he’s been in the business for 20+ years, he knows what he’s talking about!) Whatever glitches surfaced during the process, he was ALWAYS easy to contact and swift to find a solution. Thank you, YCC, for a wonderful experience! Your Cabinet Connection, Inc. did a home office for us. They did an excellent completely custom job with built in shelving and cabinets. Gene and Wendy are a pleasure to communicate with. They did quite a bit of coordination with the customization of the counter top that was done by a marble company. Earl was the person to install the cabinets and he is very easy going and an expert when it comes to customization! They met all of our expectations from giving us ideas and helping us draw the blueprintI to execution of the whole plan. I would recommend them and use them again.

A few years after helping a friend design her kitchen I finally had my chance. I always knew I would turn to this professional group one day, and I had a wonderful experience with Your Cabinet Connection last year after 14 years of waiting and dreaming. I recently had my 25 year old oak kitchen cabinets replaced by Your Cabinet Connection and I’m absolutely thrilled with the finished result and my experience with Gene Allen and his crew. I chose white Shaker cabinets and Dove Grey for my island. My kitchen is so bright and airy now, the cabinets are high quality and beautiful. I love the soft close doors, new hardware and the paint finish is high quality and beautiful. I purchased Executive Cabinets from the prior owner. During the transition to Your Cabinet Connection, owned by Gene, many of my drawer glides failed. I learned that Executive since changed the design. Gene honored the warranty of my cabinets and asked executive to replace all drawer glides. Gene found me the most perfect and beautiful cabinets for my kitchen. They are well made and a Natural Maple. The molding is gorgeous, and, the installer, Taylor, did some special touches that make the Kitchen unique, and, pulled together with the dining room. Gene is a joy to work with, and, I will call on him, again, with other projects, when needed.

Thinking we may be too far away in Oriental, NC, we contacted Your Cabinet Connection (in Swansboro) and it worked out very well. We went through several design concepts with Gene to determine what worked best for our bathroom space resulting in a nice balance of aesthetics, utilization, and storage. Gene and Wendy also recommended a countertop company, which we decided to use as well. We are very pleased with our overall experience and would use them again.

I was provided 4-5 options for cabinetry professionals that service Emerald Isle, NC and the surrounding areas. I called each and found Gene (owner) to be most responsive, professional, cordial, and informative. In moving fwd, we narrowed it down to 2 companies and Cabinet Connection was by far the most professional. He showed up when he said he would, called with any questions, allowed us to bounce questions off him, and provided a custom layout for our kitchen. As we moved thru the process with him, we were kept abreast of all ordering and delivery timelines, bracing needs, flexibility with raising the cabinet base (to elevate our cabinets), etc… Gene was in constant touch thru the entirety of the process. We would use him again on additional projects if we had/have them. Ironically, after CC had finished the project, we did receive a call back from one of the companies we originally contacted. They forgot we had a scheduled appointment a month previous and were ready to come quote the project. Do yourself a favor – go with the guys that show when they say they will, do what they say they will, and complete your project on time.
